Overall this is a great gun to purchase. Its a very smooth gun with a light trigger pull. It is on the heavier side of hand guns that I have held. Compared to that of a H&K USP .45 or a Glock 21 it is much heavier. Very easy to clean and re-assemble. I have shot about 500 brass rounds through it so far and have had 3 FTE's which is why it gets the 4 star rating. I am giving it the benefit of the doubt and saying that was due to cheap ammunition. With expensive Remington ammo I have not had any issues. I wouldn't recommend this gun to a beginner or smaller shooters because it does have a fair amount of kick. All in all this is a great looking and shooting 1911.
