This rifle is better then expected. I have several rifles that cost much more, but I like this one just as well if not better. The gun shoots flawlessly and I was really impressed with the light recoil. I have not shot any other 25-06 rifles but compaired to my 30-06 the felt recoil is probably half. I am readly to put my 30-06 away after 12-15 shots. I shot 40 rounds with this one and if I had more ammo I would have shot more. No sore shoulder when I got home. GREAT GUN don't hesitate to buy.
