Springfield 9mm 3.8 Black 19+1 Capacity [XDM9389BHC]

Great pistol! This is my first pistol purchase and was highly recommended from a fellow Marine. Pistol has a great feel to it out of the box. It's also great that it comes with some included accessories - pistol holder, mag holder, speed loader, lock, and a nice case. I put a couple hundred rounds through it at the range and shot great. The only problem I had was that a couple of times the slide failed to lock to the rear when the mag went dry. I'll have to do some more testing to figure if it's a bad mag or not. One minor thing I do not like is that the stock mag release can be impossible to release a full mag because the rounds are pushing so hard up on the slide. You have to press up on the bottom of the mag while pressing the mag release to get it to drop. I do not have a lot of experience with pistols so I'm not sure if this a common issue with other pistols. It's not that big of a deal because it releases when it needs to - when the mag has gone dry. I pased the pistol off to my buddy to try her out and he was impressed as well. We both agree that it has good ergonomics and has a good feel to it. I'm glad my friend recommended the XDm 9mm to me and I recommend this pistol to anyone.
