Well, after reading reviews on countless 1911s, I opted for the Remington R1. After getting it out to the range today, I'm confident I couldn't have made a better choice. Put over a hundred rounds using the supplied and some 8 shot Mec Gar mags with zero FTF or FTE. Not one issue with fit or finish. Accuracy was spot on. By far the most accurate firearm I've ever had right out of the box. Thanks to Bud's for the outstanding value and to Remington for their pride of workmanship. I look forward to my next purchase!!
