I purchased the xd 9 subcompact a few months ago and wanted to put some significant range time through it before writing a review. The takedown of this firearm is very simple and quick, disassembling the slide is slightly difficult but doesn't need done often. The gun fires superbly handling any ammo I put through it. I've put close to 1000 rounds through from white box to gold dots without a single malfuntion. The trigger is smooth as can be with a clean break. I will highly recommend this pistol for anyone intrested.
