Ruger 3314 SR9c 17+1 9mm 3.4"
by Richard D Date Added: Saturday 22 October, 2011
Crisp trigger, handles recoil very well for it’s size. My NRA instructor said it “punches above its weight”, which means a lot considering how small it is. The only complaint is that the trigger return was not very smooth initially. Using the 17-round mags, the trigger would get “caught” and not snap back forward after firing. Now, after 400 rounds, the problem is basically gone. I have read that there is a break in period with these guns, and mine was no exception. As of now, it’s a five-star gun. Initially, with the trigger issue, it was a 4-star gun. It’s my favorite gun now and continues to get better.
