What a wonderful peice of craftsmanship, and a flawless transaction with Buds.
Ordered on a Tuesday, picked it up Saturday moirning. Cleaned it up, and off to the range.
My wife, who has never picked up a gun before fired the first round, and put it right through the X from 10 feet.
I've put 100 rounds out now from all distances out to 35 feet at an indoord range and haven't been more than 3 incehs off center. No adjustments, no sight-in, just point and shoot. Can't wait to get outside and see how the SR9c handles at 25 yards.
Trigger is light, but requires enough touch to keep this from going off until you're ready. Only dislike it that the slide release requires pulling back slightly on the slide.
It uses the standard SR9 17 round magazine, which offers plenty of rounds unless you're expecting a pronongeld fire fight. An adapter slips down over the bigger mag to extend the grip so it handles like a full size gun, and the adjustable backstrap contoured the grip to my larger hand.
The 10 round mag has a pinkie grip adaptation so even a larger hand can grab it comfortably, but is small enough to fit comfortably high on your hip for a CCW.
I bought the SR9c because I had owned a Ruger Mark 1 for nearly 40 years, and it still shoots flawlessly. I suspect I'll be saying the same thing about ther SR9c decades from now.
