I just picked up my CZ from Bud's. The pistol itself is in great shape and I just know this one will do just fine at the range. The trigger is tuned to be smooth and light, though there is a tiny bit creep in the pull. 1911 fans would love this pistol as it has a very slim grip profile even though it's a double stack pistol. Trigger reach with proper grip will not be a problem for most and that's coming from a guy that has very mall mitts. The placement of the safety isn't as intuitive as the 1911, but it still works with positive engagement/disengagement. From beginning to end it took about a week's time for the gun to arrive and I'd say that's more than reasonable as Bud's had to process my order and get everything ready to ship, especially during the holidays. I do have one small grievance though. The grip screw on the left side of the grip panel was badly marred and semi-stripped. I ordered a set of Hex screws to replace the factory ones from the CZ Custom Shop. Being a "higher end" CZ pistol I would have expected things to be a bit better. Whether it had been corrected at the factory or at the distributor. I do understand that this could have happened anywhere, but some one should have gave it some TLC before it got into the hands of a customer.
