although i have read good and bad comments on these weapons, i took a chance on it. i have to say that the weakness to these are the magazines. i purchased 3 additional factory magazines with it and none of them would feed correctly. sometime they would feed with no issues and then the next load would double feed and the bolt would lock up. although i realize this is not a firearm id use in the field, i was hoping it would be good enough for home defense, but reliability is i think more important than the caliber. also the inserts in the box it was shipped in stated that use of non-factory aftermarket magazines would void the warranty as it can damage the feed ramp, so unless you are willing to take a chance and render it totally useless even to sell off, you are stuck with shoddy magazines. these firearms are made in the U.S.A. but buyer beware, this may have been something that could have been tweaked out, but when i purchase a new firearm, i expect it to function as designed and this firearm by no stretch of the imagination does as advertised. i unloaded it as fast as i could locate a dealer willing to work with it's shortcomings. this review is in no way a negative to buds, they are great to work with, and i understand that they need to have weapons with lower price points for those who are on a budget, but my advice is, save up and go quality, you really get what you pay for and this is a case of my trying to cheap out and it bit me.
