Bought this pistol on a monday, recieved it the following friday(paid by e-check is why it took long). Went out this past sunday and fired 100 rds thru it. No fail to fire or fail to eject. Loved every part of this gun. Will list the pro's and cons of the gun as follows.
Pro's-
Accessories galore. Love the box and all the additional ammenities it comes with.
Recoil- This gun has the same recoil as my wife's 9mm compact. Got back on target with minimal movement. Blew out the 8,9 and 10 ring on a 15 in plate. Absolutely destroyed the bullseye at 25yards.
Tear down- This gun is quite possibly the easiest weapon I have ever torn apart. (I spent 5 years in the marines so I know a little about weapon tear down).
I can keep going on and on about how amazing this gun feels. I have rather large hands as well and still found the medium backstrap to be the best.
Con's- Springs in mags are tight, one must expect this when dealing with a new weapon. Getting the last 2 rounds in is a royal pain. But does get easier. Don't use the speed loader and you will definitely know why its worth having.
The backstraps have a roll pin that must be removed. (does not come with tool to help in this endeavor). Must also purchase seperate pins when changing backstraps. Better stick with what works and stay with it. Don't keep swapping it out, tendancy to gouge out the handle or mess something up.
A tad bit top heavy, but thats ok due to me being used to it. My wife on the other hand did not care for it.
Magazine release is a bit sensitive. Get used to where its located so you don't hit it accidently. I found that I did this on my first round of shooting. Had to laugh at myself for doing such a thing, but in truth, its really not that hard to do. Especially with a firm grip.
All in all, I thoroughly love this weapon. I had intention of purchasing a HK P30 40 cal, but to spend a thousand dollars just for that weapon alone was more than what I wanted to pay. Instead I got this and a 9mm for my wife for the same price.
