When I got home, I noticed that the barrel to vent rib connection had some extra welding down at one connection point. That apparently warped the barrel and the point of impact was way off point of aim. I called Remington and they sent another barrel. That barrel is even worse. I shot it with slugs off of the same bench rest and it was shooting 12-14 inches low at 50 yards. Also, the fore grip is loose unless the magazine nut is tightened with a tool. They sent another grip when they sent the barrel but that did not fix the problem.
Now the shotgun has to go back to Remington. A shotgun that costs this much should be properly made and function correctly out of the box. I wish now that I had bought the Benelli instead.
