Absolutely perfect for me to start getting into .22 bulls-eye competition. Do a little research and find that these are amonge the most reliable accurate pistols under five hundred. I haven't found a brand of ammo that mine does not like. Shot 1000 rounds with less than 5 total failures which was with cheap winchester white box ammo. It shoots the bulk Rem and Fed just fine. Cleaning is not that hard just try not to think that you know what you are doing and follow the manual step by step or else things can get forced together incorrectly.

The wood grip RP version is worth the extra $30-40 they are top quality, give you more aftermarket options and make it look more respectable like a real gun and not a toy.

Really love this gun. My dad had a Mark II target that I shot all the time as a kid so this newer model 22/45 really takes me back.
