RESPONSE BY BUDS: Expect powder residue on guns from test firing my manufacturer. Taurus and S&W are notorious for not cleaning after test firing. Unlike retail stores, we do NOT unbox new guns and clean to put out on display. They are shipped exactly as they are received, New In Box.

This is indeed a good looking, and BIG gun. The heft isn't as bad as 60.6 ounces sounds, but in hand it's a large iron. I was disappointed to find that while a quick inspection at my FFL looked OK, when I got it home and looked closer I found it had some number of rounds through it already. Both the bore and cylinder bores were quite dirty and there was powder staining on the barrel end of the cylinder. My bad for not checking it more closely at the FFL, but beware.
