Taurus Public Defender Ultra-Light 45LC/410 2.5" SS Finish [2441029TCUL]
$525.00
by Larry K
Date Added: Wednesday 21 December, 2011
I am somewhat disappointed with this purchase...
I was led to believe by this add and by Taurus that this revolver was made of stainless steel. This revolver's framework is made of ALUMINUM, with a "stainless" finish! I have purchased two Taurus Judge handguns earlier this year, and I was very impressed with their potential. The Public Defender seemed a perfect choice for concealed carry; and I was torn between the new polymer frame and this particular model which I thought was stainless steel. Had I known that this item was aluminum and NOT stainless steel, I would have purchased the polymer version.
I am sure that this particular revolver will preform as well as my other Judges, I just feel that this item was misrepresented. So far, Bud's has informed me that they might purchase it back at a used price (this gun is still new, in the box, unfired), but I will not accept any less than I paid.
This is my sixth purchase this year from Bud's this year, and I have always had good service.
We shall see what transpires as I attempt an appeal of this purchase...
