Rifle great, typical Savage Arms product. The trigger is fairly heavy,however who ever installed the scope needs to find a new job, The aft ring lock down lug on the right (where it attaches to the rifle)was installed upside down and to compensate, the left hex screw was tightened down to the point of being stripped. Who ever boresighted this gun should have noticed this. It took myself and a range offical almost 60 rounds of ammo before these proplems were discovered. It was shoot, adjust, check the scope was secure and do it all over again. Almost $90 dollars for ammo $22.00 for a cheap set of rings, $20.00 for range fees. After all that, I dont trust that I could hit anything smaller than a car. I don't know who is responsibile but I would sure like some of that money back.
