The Fed 125gr hp are the most accurate ammo I have found for my 1975 JM Marlin 336 producing groups of less than an inch at 50 yards and about 2 inches at 100 yards. I took a nice 10 point buck last season with single shot (double lunged) at 70 yards that dropped after a 30 yard mad dash. I plan to use the same ammo again this season, however, the hp can hang up when cycling if the rifle is not held perpendicular to the ground.

Awesome. This is a great round for about any deer of smaller game. It really cuts a rug. I get full velocity even in a 20" barrel.
