Took 1 week for shipping, which I thought was not bad at all even though I was counting the days. Buds delivered what they said they would, a new XDm .45 with all the extra hardware that S.A. includes. Gun was without flaw, and without cleaning the gun it shot flawlessy. I used UMC FMJ's and used 21 rounds. which @ 10yards I was able consistantly hit 12oz aluminum cans over and over 21 times.

This sidearm is HIGHLY accurate and could be used precisly by a competitive shooter. If you lack rifined skills in pistol shooting, the match grade barrel and ergonomics and trigger break and different sized backstraps all combine to improve your shooting capability without you actually having to dedicate hours n days and weeks of training.

.45 comes with the "AWWW" effect that almost all gun lovers seek. This gun is great when it comes to precision shooting, protecting your home and generally offering some serious knock down power when you know you will be needing some. However I prefer to CC a Taurus 85 model 38 special.( thats my back up till I can get the big guy out).

For $600 from start of ordering to walking out the FFL dealer, I"m still happy about the deal. In fact the FFL dealer who only charges 15% more than wholesale was impressed on how well priced the .45 was.
