Have had this weapon about a month. Just got to take it to the range today. Wow, what a pistol. If you want a big bore big pistol that feels like a big bore pistol, This is it. SA has hit a home run with this one. I fed it Win, PMC and Fed Tactical, not a hiccup. Ate it all and wanted more. This is a large heavy pistol when loaded, but feels great in your hand and is big enough to handle the 45 ACP. Accurate right out of the box. For concealed carry I will cary my Glock 30, but if I really felt threatened, the XDM will be on my side. If I run dry, it will make El Kabong look like a piker. I have had severak different govt model 45s over the years, for actual use, I would not trade this for all of them. Greater capacity and shoots like a dream. I would buy it again in a heartbet. Breaks down for cleaning very easily.
