Have only taken this out shooting once but put over 300 rounds through it that day and overall I am happy with this purchase. It is extremely accurate and I had zero malfunctions with my day of shooting. The only thing I was disappointed in was the way it fits and or feels in my hands. I bought this to replace an XD .45 I have had for years and after much research and reading up on the XDM I was expecting this pistol to feel much more natural and or better in my grip but this was not the case. I honestly can say I like the feel of my standard XD in my hands over this. Although they both hold the same amount of bullets and actually use the same magazine the XDM feels like it is large in my hands which they themselves are not small. Was expecting a better fit and better feeling ergonomics with this pistol and in that department I walk away disappointed but as I stated before I have only taken it out shooting once so hopefully with time it will mesh up better.
