I got the vanguard package and it is a good gun. Finish is good and polymer stock is not finely finished but still looks good. Bold action is smooth. Bushnell scope 3x9 is good enough for hunting. Trigger is tight and light..just right. The .308 sighted in well and it is sub moa at 100 yds. Shot deer and dropped them where they stood. The 24in barrel is just what I needed for the accuracy. I wanted to buy another in .223 but they were not available. I do not think you can go wrong with the price and quality of a Weatherby.
