For the price you pay for this pistol it's worth it. Don't be surprised
if it's not as accurate as other handguns in the 4-5 inch range.
It's not as "tight" as the M&P but I like the break-down much better
than the M&P.
The fit and feel in the hand is very nice and comfortable. Mags load
tight, drop out fast and you get two of them with the pistol.
I've got one issue with spent brass and it appears that the test cartridge
that comes with the pistol has the same bulge in it, just above the webbing,
and turns out on the bottom side of each spent cartridge. My concern is the
reuse of said spent cartridges. I do enjoy handloading and it does save money.
I've never seen this type of bulge before in a pistol cartridge. All fired rounds
ejected well, no problems there.
It appears to me that the person that polished the feed ramp took the polishing
wheel to far inside the chamber and left this impression, thus giving the fired
cases room to grow out in this one area at the bottom of the chamber area.
Other than that the SD works.
Would I buy another one? NOT if they all exibit this kind of quality work...
Did I contact S&W about the issue I see? YES. So now we wait and see what they say.
