Not a lot to say about the Glock 19 that hasn't already been said. I own a Gen. 3 Glock 19 so this is my second. I wanted to own a Gen. 4 because I trust the gun, and for compatibility of many parts, holsters, etc. I've put 200 rounds of various range and defense ammo through it so far with no problems. Ejection has been positive with no brass to the face as reported in early Gen. 4 models. So far, it seems to be as reliable as my Gen. 3 19 has been. The only issue is the finish of current Glocks has definitely been downgraded. My cobalt chrome wedding ring has already left superficial scratches on the surface of the slide. I tried to recreate the scratches on my older Gen. 3 19 and could not. The older Glock definitely has a superior finish. Unfortunately, all Glocks now come with this lesser quality finish. Shame on Glock. Otherwise, I love the gun. Buds was great. Shipping was fast and price was competitive.
