Received my Hi-point 4595 very quickly after I ordered it. Thanks Buds! It's not a light carbine, but, that really helps with recoil when the .45 acp fires. Received it, de-greased it, oiled it and took it to the range. Using Aguila .45 acp all 9 round and 14 round mags worked fine. No FTE or FTF. The bolt stayed open when the mags were empty. Next time I will try a different brand of factory .45 to see what works.

These are great shooters for the money. They always go bang and buds as always was fast and easy. I have had several of these carbine and never had single issue.

A little heavy but very functional, accurate and very minimal kick. No failures as of 200 rounds so far so good.

Inexpensive, ugly and entirely functional. It handled a box of White Box, FMJ, without a hiccup. The sights were spot on at 25 yards though the front post needs some contrast added so I’ll likely add model paint. After I’d first fired it, I ordered a brake from HiPoint and it notably modified the recoil and the muzzle lift. The weapon is heavy enough that I suspect that the spring loaded butt pad built into the stock is a little overkill. The optional mag holder is handy though it doesn’t accommodate a 14 round mag. Overall, I’m satisfied with it as I was with an earlier 10 mm carbine (also from Buds).

Great gun that has made me appreciate the brand. After owning it over a year and thousands of rounds I have nothing negative to say besides the weight. I have since got the 995. So weight wasn't a issue that kept me from liking the gun or purchasing another. No misfires, no failure to feed, or failure to eject. GO HIGH POINT.

This is one nice carbine foe the price. The kick is negligible but it does have a little bit of a barrel rise. Think i'll invest in a muzzle brake.

What can I say? It’s a Hi Point carbine! They’re known for their toughness and accuracy. Never have had any jams yet. Have put over 400 rounds through it!

Arrived on time as always. And knowing that Hi Point gets a lot of negatives, this rifle hits it out of the ballpark! It's a joy to shoot, and would definitely recommend anyone looking for a pcc that doesn't want to break the bank, get one of these!

Just received this carbine chambered in 45ACP. This is without a doubt the most comfortable rifle to shoot. It shoots straight out of the box and on target for sure. Handles real well. A bit heavy but it has very little recoil and is very quiet for a 45 carbine. I have only shot 230gr. paper punchers thru it. but still it never even offered to jam or misfire. Well worth the money . Buds delivery was fast and reliable as always.

My rifle came to the FFL and I went to pick it up. It appeared to be ok and they made the transfer. I took the charging handle out, screwed it by hand and tried to pull the bolt back. It came half way. Emailed Buds and they said call Hi Point but they are closed until Monday. So.... that's what I will have to do. I bought a pistol and a rifle plus shotgun all in the last 45 days with another rifle I am waiting for Bud's to ship. No problems with my other purchases. Seems like the HP45 is bad about bolt problems.

This was my first hi-point that was not great right out of the box. It was shooting 3 inches wide right no matter how much I adjusted the rear windage site to move it back to center. Owners manual said if you can't get site adequately adjusted with the adjustment screws on the rear site, you can loosen the front site and tilt it to compensate. I used half a box of ammo to get it within an inch of center and quit for that session. Tilting that front site is an endeavor more suited to young folks with good eyes since detecting any movement is hard to see and thus I had to fiddle with it several times. I highly suspect I will have to order a scope from hi-point to get the gun reasonably accurate. Otherwise, the gun functions fine, guess the law of averages caught up with me after five hi-points. Purchase took 15 days from order to delivery to my ffl dealer.

I haven't bought any carbine like this before. I haven't fired it yet but I can tell you already: It's heavy. It has a heavy trigger. It's "boxy" looking. Hopefully I can add to or amend my review once I've fired it. So, thus far for the OTD price: $390 it seems good.

I received my 4595TS today, and two magpul 14rds magazines. Went to the range and had a blast, literally. I shot 50rds through it, and didn't have one problem. It shot very well, and at the point of aim Straight Out The Box. And Bud's is the very best for all your online Gun/Ammo purchases. Thank You......
