Received the gun the next day...wow. Add that to the fact that I took it out and immediately fired 1000 rounds of cheap Winchester ammo through it. and I never had the slightest problem. This was my first online purchase and first pistol purchase (although I've fired many) and I couldn't be happier about how easy it was to buy and also how well this gun works. Some people on the internet have dogged this gun for it's long trigger pull, but after a few years of getting used to long double action revolver triggers, I feel the long, smooth trigger is actually a good thing. As opposed to me quickly "snapping" the trigger, I feel myself slowly pulling back the long trigger while keeping myself on target, because of this, it feels as if I have better control...and I love it.
I will probably continue to shoot 500+ rounds through this gun every week and I'll monitor it's condition as I do so.
Also, I had to change the grips for the small version as I have TINY hands. I think the short pull trigger is next on my list. Also, I received contrast sights...NOT the night sights others appear to be getting.
One problem I've found is the barrel and part of the slide started showing wear after 100 rounds. This was from the barrel scraping the topt of the slide. Sig claims this is normal, and I've seen p250's with 10k plus rounds though it (on the internet) and people have claimed that is doesn't affect the gun in any way, and that once it reaches a certain amount of wear, it doesn't get any worse.
Overall, I am happy with this purchase and I have to say it makes a GREAT first weapon, or a great additional weapon to anyone who would like the feel of a smooth, soft, long triggered 9mm to add to their arsenal.
