I wanted a Mini 30 for some time, as compared to Mini14 or 6.8SPC. Lengthy research showed the 7.62x39 was very capable as a handloaded sub-sonic supressed tacticle round. Then Ruger made a tactical version rifle. Perfect solution to my research. Other reviews on Bud's helped. Only four stars because I haven't taken it to the range yet. Bud's notified me it was available again, I ordered and took possesion from my FFL delaer 3days later. Outstanding service!. BTW Bud's saved me hundreds compared to local gun show prices.
