I’ve been waiting awhile for this model #0629 single six to come back around and glad to see it finally did although in limited quantity. This convertible model w/fixed sights and magnum cylinder is exactly what I wanted. Traded those skinny plastic grips for some walnut off one of my blackhawks…..perfect fit and look not to mention a much beefier grasp on the gun. This thing is very comfortable to shoot….love the fixed sights….at 25 yards was hitting point of aim and getting 2 to 3” groups using the back of my ranger to steady my aim. Should be the perfect gun to get the grandkids started shooting. Fit/finish and function on this revolver has been perfect after 200 rounds including magnums…..it’s a Ruger. I would definitely recommend this model (if you can find it) to anyone looking for this type of firearm.

My second modern (last few years) bought post Covid that was fitted and put together so poorly. Hammer pull back was very tight, trigger is so hard. Ruger must be really cranking them out a million miles an hour expecting the customer to be the quality control.

My first revolver! After reviewing all .22 single-action revolvers available on line from many dealers, Ruger was my choice. Inspecting it thoroughly, everything about this gun was perfect in it's machining,finish, balance and fit .When I got the gun home I read the manual, cleaned it, when out back and shot 30 rounds. From shorts to Magnums it is accurate and fun to shoot! I love this gun!

I love this gun! Fit and finish on it is what I've come to expect from ruger. The specs state it's a blued finish but its almost black. Im not complaining i really like the dark color of it. And buds price couldn't be beat! This was the first gun I've purchased from buds and I couldn't be happier with the transaction. From the point of purchase to delivery to my ffl was only a few days. I can't complain about that! I'll be buying from buds again!

I am very pleased with this revolver. It was just as described by buds and i will do business with them again. The only issue i have with the revolver is the grips are a little sharp close to the trigger guard. Nothing a little filing cant fix.

A perfect gun for all uses. I shoot my anniversary model in monthly Rimfire Cowboy Action matches and over the past 3 years, I have never experienced the slightest problem. The gun is smooth, accurate and very good looking. I cannot believe there is a better 22 pistol anywhere at any price. It is one gun I cannot ever imagine my selling. I have 3 other single action 22's but this one is the best by far.
