This is a great gun! Very solid and well-made. The 4-5/8" barrel is a great choice with this revolver, as was the choice of stainless finish - looks and handles great. Shooting .38 Special is almost gentle in this revolver, and even full-blown .357 are quite manageable. Accuracy out of the box was superb! This is always an ordeal for me, as it seems every new gun I purchase I want to throw away as I try to get the sights regulated at first. Not so with the Blackhawk - it was shooting to point of aim from the first shot, and did so consistently. I was beyond pleased with the accuracy and shooting characteristics of this gun. I would hardily recommend this gun to anyone wanting a high-quality single action revolver.
