haven’t shot it a ton but a great ruger handgun

I purchased this Ruger Blackhawk for 799.99. I saw one on a competitor’s online store for 649.99 two days later. I don’t see me buying from Buds anymore.

I have wanted a 41 mag for many years. Since I was in my mid teens in fact. I’m 52 now and when I saw this 6.5” barreled 41 mag pop up I had to get it. I’ve only shot cowboy loads through it so far but really like it. I’ve ordered hogue grips and a holster for it. Buds has helped me cross another one off my list.

I never should've sold this one. Accurate right out of the box. Great Ruger quality in a very useful caliber.

This gun was perfect! Unfortunately, I never got to shoot it before I had to sell it to pay a bill. I have since purchased another in the 4 5/8" and I love it. Long live the Ruger Blackhawk and the .41 magnum!

Shot coyotes from 15 yards to 90 yards gets the job done fast. Very strong and reliable pistol. Shot about 800 rounds no problem.

This is the third of three Blackhawks I own, the first one, a .357, bought in 1964, and the other two within the last year. The .41 Magnum is as solid and fine a gun as the others, and shoots at the same outstanding level as the others. The only negative criticism I have is the lack of synchronization between the “click”, or indexing, as the cylinder is turned and the fact that the cylinder chambers are not aligned for loading and unloading at the click. That means having to carefully watch to see when the chambers are aligned and sometimes fiddling with the cylinder instead of simply waiting for the click as is the case with my ancient old warrior. The .45 Long Colt Blackhawk I bought several months ago suffers the same irritating quality as the .41. As I said, it’s an irritating quality, but the gun itself is an outstanding product, and I wouldn’t refuse to buy it because of that characteristic.

I haven't shot it yet but it was in excellent condition when I picked it up at my local FFL dealer I will buy from Bud's again

Here's another excellent s/a revolver from ruger, sights are easy to see and keep on target. I chose the 6.5 inch barrel model to help with the muzzle jump and balance due to the 41mags power,but be prepared to shoot this one with gloves on due to the black plastic diamond checking grips they due rough your palm up holding on to it. It does shoot tight groups with full loads ,approx. 2in at 35 ft . Trigger pull is very good and breaks clean, hammer fall time seems faster than most other s/a, keep the follow through with the sights and it puts the bullet there every time, Buds has a great price and fast delivery, this will make a great hunting gun,powerful cartridge,good handling chacteristics, and very accurate.

Buds did a great job as usual. Ruger blackhawk is one of the best single action revolvers i have ever owned.

I love the Blackhawks, and this one is no exception. I am planning on taking it Deer Hunting in the fall. The .41 Magnum is a formidable cartridge, and the Ruger is one tough gun. As far as service, Buds was spot on again! That's why I keep coming back over and over again. It's hard to turn down a fair, and honest deal.
