I purchased this gun to replace my last P89DC which I fired well over 20,000 rounds through. In those 20,000 rounds I never had a single jam! In fact, I only sold it because I found a fool who paid me almost what a new one sells for.... As for the new P89DC, I've put 800 through this new one with the same results! I believe the "R" in Ruger stands for Reliability!
I've even altenated a mixture of 9MM ammo (Round Nose, JHP, Gold Dots (115, 124, 147 gr)) in the 15 round clips and again... No Problems! This is a gun I would use in a do or die situation without question.
