This is my first purchase with Buds and also it is my first revolver. Before placing the order on SP101, I have spent quite some time online doing research to decide whether I should go with a 2" or 3" barrel. Eventually I settled with 3" based upon online review as well as the actual handling of two guns. I liked the feeling of 3" barrel version in my hand that feels more balanced. However, it doesn't mean 2" isn't good. Actually 2" is very good for CCW if you don't care about the weight. As mentioned by numerous reviews, Ruger SP101 is bulit like a tank and the material used in this gun is really good quality. As a matter of fact, I didn't notice the sharp edges of hammer and trigger guard too much as others complained. Overall I liked this gun very much and will keep it as long as I can.
