You do not pick a valid FFL dealer we already have on file
First off, I'd like to say that dealing with Bud's couldn't be any easier when using one of their preferred FFL's. It's as easy as order, get an email saying it's been shipped, visit the FFL, fill out the paperwork, wait the required time, then pick up the gun. Faster if you have a CCW.
Now about the Ruger. Love the Grips. The kick with .357 magnum rounds is very manageable. With .38 specials, almost non existent. The gun from the factory is very accurate. I did replace the original sights with a set of firesights as my eyes aren't as clear as they used to be. The gun is certainly more accurate than I am, but even with these old eyes, am able to keep everything in the black at 15 to 25 yards. The gun is probably too big for concealed carry, but as a implement for home defense, it's perfect with true point and shoot capability. I don't want to have to be fumbling, trying to rack a slide and remembering to release the safety when seconds may count. I just hope to God, I never have to do that.
I've put almost 1000 rounds in combinations of factory .38 special, and .357 magnum jacketed, along with handloads using lead and home defense xtp in .38 special and .357 magnum, and have never had a problem. Every one has fired, and the wheel has always turned. The gun may not be small and light, but it is a blast to shoot, and very accurate. Thanks so much Bud's for the super fast service and great communications.
