5 stars. Ordered it a week ago Wednesday and picked it up from my FFL last Tuesday. My 4th gun from buds; buds is awesome but you already know that. This is my first wheel gun and my 3rd Ruger handgun. Took it out to the range today and put 100 rounds of 38 special 158grain JHP and 100 rounds of 357mag 158grain JHP through it without a hitch. My only regret is not bringing more ammo. Another reviewer said he could just not wait to shoot this gun again, and now I know why. It is just so fun to shoot! The 38 has significantly less muzzle flip than my SR9C, but the 357 is far more fun to shoot. It's got much more recoil but no more than a 45 auto. This gun is way more accurate than I am. I didn't take it out past 15 yards but I'm sure in the right hands 30+ yards would be no problem. Switching between the 38 and 357 threw me off because of the point of impact, but both are very accurate after adjustment. I never write reviews, but since the other reviewers helped me make my decision I thought I thought I would do the same. I highly recommend this gun!
