Purchased this rifle from Bud's with the electronic check payment option to get the best price, and what a deal it was! I grew up shooting 22LR rifles and pistols of all kinds but somehow never came across a 10/22?!? After my brother recently bought a base-model 10/22 and let me try it out, I couldn't believe what I had been missing. This is the model I chose for myself. The Target trigger is way crisper and smoother with a shorter & lighter pull compared to the standard trigger group. The 20" bull barrel is a thing of beauty; and the laminated stock looked so much better than I had anticipated, I gave up my plans of replacing it. I put a bipod and some optics on mine, and it was shooting 3" groups at 100yds in a 20mph crosswind - while I was sighting in the scope! Definitely likes match grade ammo WAY better than bulk or Hi-vel. stuff. This was also a test for me, seeing if the savings of purchasing online was worth it for me... Buds will be seeing more of my business, that's for sure! Very professional, awesome communication with tracking, payment info, etc. and unbeatable prices! I think it's funny how many people complain about slow shipping in their reviews - the e-check payment took longer (8 days)than the shipping did (4 days) and I fully expected that, having read Bud's FAQ page prior to placing my order. Do that many people just send money to a website without doing even basic research?!?!?!?! THANKS BUDS GUN SHOP!!!
