I wanted a coach gun w/hammers. For no particular reason, I just wanted one. I looked locally and they were all sold out and so I went to the internet and I found one.
I wasn't expecting much so I wasn't disappointed but I was pleasantly surprised. It is rough, the wood to metal fit is hit or miss, where it hits it's real good and where it misses, i.e. around the hammer plates it's pretty sloppy. There is no smooth feel to the gun, the edges are sharp, the action is super tight and it is difficult to open and the
block safety is so tight as to be unusable. When it is engaged there is no doubt the hammers will not move and also the finish is not pleasing however...that being said it comes with a recoil pad installed, as well as sling mounts. There is no creep to the trigger and it lets off nice and crisp and it shoots to point of aim. And one of the best points is it was $270.00 delivered. I will smooth, and polish and adjust it but I would have done that anyway.
I bought it to keep the hallway from my bedroom clear and it is very satisfying to feel the hammers lock and cock. I can also look down at it and tell if it's cocked or not.
