Purchased Glock 26 Gen-4 for my first handgun. I live just 50 minutes from Bud's Gun shop, Gun was not in the local Lexington store so I had to order it from Bud's Warehouse for pick up in the Lexington store. I was not given the option of getting the cash price even though I was picking up the gun at Bud's Lexington store. I even paid the optional $7.00 insurance for shipping across town to Bud's store in case the gun was lost or damaged. All this added 3% to the gun price and $7.00 insurance, but I saw no way around it if I wanted the gun from Bud's. Ordered the gun in the later afternoon and the gun was ready for pick up the next day. As far as the performance of the Glock 26 Gen-4 I can tell you this gun is a well designed machine that is made to fire bullets. Easy to shoot, load, sight, trigger pull, and breaks down in seconds with no tools for easy cleaning at home or in the field. Durable gun that will fire any ammo you put into it. Many accessories already on the market making this gun even more of a personal custom item for the individual. The compact 9 mm is perfect for a first gun if it fits your grip and hand. I preferred the Gen-4 because of the grip, larger magazine release button, shell in the chamber indicator, and the double spring slide. Well made functional gun that I'm happy with.
