I bought this 1911 because of the review done by Hickok45 and others. When I received it in a quick 4 days, I looked it over and it was amazing, I couldn't believe the quality of this pistol. It was the frame fit and the bushing fit that still amazes me.
I also once again, so pleased with Bud's selling and shipping, quick and a nice looking item at a amazing price point, Thanks Bud's.

The range report: I got it, cleaned it and then shot it, first day put 100 rounds\50 round of Perfecta 230 gr RN and Federal 230 gr RN, shooting using the 2 provided 7 round mags, it shot perfect. This firearm is very accurate out of the box was getting silver dollar groupings after getting used to a different trigger than my first Tisas 1911 that was also a great shooter from Bud'd for the price point. This Springfield RO is a nail driver, on the next range trip shoot another 150 rounds of Federal Champion aluminum case 230 gr RN and it performed again flawlessly and I really enjoy shooting this 1911. Again my groups where silver dollar size, with maybe a flyer or 2 but hitting well and this time on the 3 mag I got it dialed into where to hold the front sight on target.
Lets say groups tightened up a bit. I am so glad that I added this Firearm to my collection.

Cons: Maybe the front sight at times I am starting to get used to it though with more practice I think I could get use to black on black target sights. Besides the front sight I wouldn't add anything except after the 2nd range trip it was warmer out that day than the first shoot and my hand sweat a bit more and started to slide a bit on that front strap. I then decided to add a Wilson Combat checkered front strap insert. It's thin metal an it is solid for as thin as it looks. The checkering is nice on there and I haven't shot it yet it seems to stay firmly locked under the grip panels and feels great in your hand. Wish it was checkered already but still a great 1911 and would recommend this firearm to anyone looking to get that 2nd nicer 1911 or another one of great performance add to your collection.
