First off, great rifle. This was the first time that I have fired a rifle more powerful than an M-4 an I was pleasantly surprised! I ordered it Sunday night and had it by Friday.

...HOWEVER...

The Bushnell scope that came with it is straight garbage-sauce. Out of box, it was sending my shots about 30 inches left and 12 inches low. Not to mention the instruction book that came with the scope was the incorrect one, and there is nothing ANYWHERE on the internet for it. I finally found a book for a similar one with "finger adjustable" windage and elevation. Well, let's just say that its not that simple. I had to use pliers that eventually ripped the plastic knob clean off the adjustment mechanism.

I don't know if this was a Buds issue or a Savage issue, but if you want this rifle, get it. But don't waste any time/ money on the scope package. Buy a separate scope and mount it yourself. You will be much better off.

Again.... I love the rifle. Not the scope. I would still recommend the Axis and Buds to my friends.
