Bought this gun a few years ago. Never could get it too work right. Shells won’t eject and then the next shell gets stuck under the lifter. Would be a solid back up gun if it actually worked. I’ve bought a few guns off buds and they’ve been great. But this gun not so much.

Bought 3 of these, one of them had to get sent in for warranty repair right out of the box. The barrel did not want to seat in the receiver correctly. Buds was great in getting it resolved except they didn't include the gunsmith invoice stating what was done to correct the issue and the shotgun was returned without the plug. I contacted them about it and was told they would get back to me...that was over a month ago and still no word. Other than that, can't beat a semi-auto shotgun for the price. The gun's finish isn't the best and the fiber optic front is pretty cheap and dull, but it shoots and handles great. Side note...they "store your IPADDRESS" for security reasons and they show you a private, non-routable address. Too funny.

$299 semi-auto. you get what you pay for, but in this case I rolled the dice and came out ahead. materials seem light and cheap, but everything is aligned and assembled well. red fiber optic is a nice touch. I mean its just a piece of glass but at $299 that is a win. ran 400 rounds of war-mart garbage ammo with no issues. ran a few boxes of better stuff no issues. ghost loading works, so you get a 7 shot capacity without any modifications. I have been told this is a benelli clone. I don't have a benelli so I cannot compare. There are no spare parts available online for this gun so if something breaks, you're out of luck. But for $299 you can just buy another one. For the price you really can't lose until you save the $1100 for a beretta or something. If you are worried spend the $15 for the buds warranty.

I'm glad I bought this shotgun now because it's worth more than its priced now and I believe the price will be going up soon. First impression upon receiving it was extremely positive. The plastic case it came in is a little cheap and the the gun needs broken down in order to fit. I say cheap yet they have provided one which is way more than most any other company . The inside of the case feels like it is covered with a rubberized material for super storage protection .. the gun itself feels super lite and is very comfortable when shouldering . The fact that girsan provides 5 chokes and a choke wrench shows me they are very determined to really satisfy their customers and it just isn't a gimmick. The gun itself looks and feels very well built and to me it shoots like a dream. First shot downed a pigeon at 40 yards .. target acquisition with the front fiber optic sight was immediateand natural.. I've shot just over 100 rounds through it so it's not near broken in yet but is still very smooth. I had 2 ghost feeds in the first 10 rounds but nothing since. All in all I would absolutely recommend this shotgun.. it is not by any means fancy but it does exactly what I and probably many others want in a gun. And that is it shoots and feels fantastic. If you are buying one or even considering it take note of the warranty . Buds really must believe in this gun by how strongly thy are backing it but also at checkout you can select an option for a lifetime manufacturer warranty for like 15 bucks. And considering the price of the gun you can add that and still be very much under the total price of other shotguns of much less quality . I love it and have had 0 buyers remorse or regret and am looking forward to many days on the water, in the woods and at the skeet range with my family and friends and have full confidence that my girsan will be there with me for many years to come..

Buds Gun Shop is great to do business with. I received the gun quickly from Buds (through my local FFL dealer). After opening box, I oiled the bolt mechanism and put oil on the barrel end that slips into the receiver. Then I ran a total of about 75 rounds through it. Most of those rounds were high power game loads and some were 3" loads. Then I ran a few lighter loads. This gun performed flawlessly with no malfuctions whatsoever. I am extremely happy with my purchase. Let me tell you this is a great shotgun and the best buy out there for a semiauto shotgun.

Got shotgun today. Took it out and shot 50 rounds of cheap target rounds through it. Didn't have any malfunctions. It cycled all of them.

Very impressive at this price point. Nice machining and a good, even black matt finish. Trigger has just a hint of creep and breaks clean at an avg of 5lb 10oz (measured with Lyman digital gauge.) I figure the pull will lighten with a little use. Hand cycling the action is smooth as silk. So far no failures of any kind using Federal 2 3/4", 1290fps, 7 1/2 game Recoil was lighter than I was expecting. Chokes install and remove without any detectable tightspots. Plus a very decent hard case and for $15 extra dollars I got the Bud's lifetime warranty. Very satisfied, I consider it a heck of a deal.

Just got the gun today it was packed very nicely and comes in a hard plastic case. This shotgun looks great and assembled easily. The chokes are in a box and have the wrench included to tighten them. The action seems smooth and models after the Benelli inside and out. I'm looking forward to giving it a good work out hunting geese on Saturday. Fantastic for $299.00 that's for sure. Buds Guns was quick and easy and are backing up this gun 100% Get one before the price goes up.

My first Girsan purchase. I can't believe how smooth of a gun it is and how comfortable of gun this is. It's a steal at these prices. I now leave my benelli sbe at home and this is my go to gun . Better get em while they are cheap

Received this as a Christmas gift this last year. Been shooting/hunting with it for the last year. Excellent shooting shotgun. Started with 2 3/4 clay loads in cold weather. No problems at all. Cycles nice and not much recoil. Put over 200 shells through it with no problems. Now I have been duck/goose hunting and still no problems. An excellent gun, especially for the price. Also easy to clean. Highly recommend this gun.

Picked up this shot gun from buds to do some upland game bird hutting, dove hunting to be exact. Have to say the price and video buds put out really drew me to the gun. Took it out for the first time opening day 9/1/15 and put about 40 rounds through the gun that morning. I had 1 FTF & 2 FTE. I was running some Winchester 2 3/4 71/2's through it. We came in off the morning shoot and I broke down the gun, cleaned it and oiled it, replaced the modified choke with the Improved Cylinder and gun ran great after that. I knocked down a limit that afternoon . I went out 3 more times and have around 160-180 rounds through the gun now. The weight of the gun is evenly distributed and the rounded top stock never got caught on my clothes. I had one more issue with the gun on my last afternoon hunt, the gun fired and did not eject the shell, the shell stayed in the barrel and the gun fed another shell into the action and jammed the gun. I had to pull the action open, depress the teeth on the bolt to release the live round, let the action close, remove the shell in the magazine tube, make safe then field strip the weapon. I took my pocket knife and popped the shell out of the barrel. Put the weapon back together and shot another limit! Bottom line the Girsan MC312 shot gun is right about middle of the line for me. I will definitely spend some extra money on my next shot gun!

This shotgun is well worth the money I paid for it. It came in a nice carry case, clean, and well manufactured. Easy to assemble. I cleaned and oiled it before shooting, but probably didn't really need it. There are some issues that you might like to be aware of, such as the material of the barrel. The "special steel" seems a little economy. I don't doubt it will handle thousands of rounds, but probably isnt going to last 50 years. There are some protruding, sharp edges in the plastic around the receiver that need filing or sanding down. The lifter is a little tricky and catches your thumb when loading the magazine. The awesome is it eats any ammo, and it loves the cheap stuff. It swings well, very balanced, and shoots straight. Took it through a few rounds of skeet, and it held its own with the thousands of dollars Brownings. One fte in first hundred rounds. Fast cycling though.
