The GSG1911 .22Lr has become my favorite handgun. Feels just like my 45 and 9mm 1911s without having to take out a loan to shoot a couple hundred rounds. Besides just being fun to shoot it’s a great inexpensive training gun for the .45ACP Buds sale process is painless and quick. This is the 5th Buds Guns purchase… all have been easy and prices are best I’ve found at the time of purchase!

The spring is to light you can’t modify the gun because it will jam .You can ‘even put a compensator .

I am very pleased with this gun. I bought it for my 11 year old daughter to shoot and I couldn’t have made a better choice. Very easy to shoot with no recoil. We shot over 300 rounds with no issues. Great Buy!!

The most awesome 22lr hand gun that you could have. I have put more than a 1000 rounds with it without any problem, its works flowlesly, you never miss a shoot. It is a 10 stars product.

Fails to extract casings regularly.

I bought mine in 2018 and have slight peening damage on the slide stop notch supposedly caused by slide stop impact, a common problem. This is discussed on forums like https://www.rimfirecentral.com/threads/gsg-1911-22-slide-sto-
p-notch-peening.428895/. Considering the unavailability of parts for one or more of ATI's discontinued models like the HP9, it may make sense to buy an extra slide while the model is current. It's been reliable and fun otherwise, though fine accuracy has been elusive so far.

It looks like 1911, it feels like 1911. However, this is a 22. So it is very sensitive to the ammo you will use. Don't buy German ammo "optimized for bolt action rifles". It will jam. A lot. Also, mine came with the sights that aren't zeroed in. And another thing that I miss - it doesn't have a rail. Other than that - I like the gun

What a pleasant surprise to fire this weapon. The weight, balance and trigger are entirely satisfactory. Although I was only plinking with Thunderbolt 22's, the accuracy seemed excellent.
I'm liking this pistol well enough that I intend to explore sight upgrade options.
It's my first experience with a GSG weapon but it won't be my last.

The gun itself feels cheap. I'm honestly a little worried about the slide wearing out. I have a few GSG's and this one just doesn't feel up to par. It shoots straight and fires reliably as a .22 is ( depending on ammo). If I were to go back I would have probably got the walther. It's just for plinking though so no big deal. I got it since the 1911 .45 gets a bit expensive to shoot and I figured my wife might like to try this one.

Recently took my new GSM 1911 to the range, it ran flawlessly (CCI Mini-mag) and love the gun. Great gun to use for training for someone who has never fired a gun. Very happy with BudsGunShop and their customer service. Highly recommend the GSM 1911!

Awesome little .22! I got this gun as in inexpensive way to supplement training for my 1911 competition gun. It's a close replica but not exact. The .22 is a little more narrow than a real 1911 so its loose in my kydex holster but that's okay. It only comes with 1 mag but they are easy to find and only $19each. The gun is not super accurate because of the slop in the barrel bushing but ZR tactical makes a kit for $60 the solves that. It's not really necessary if just using this a plinker and not a competition rimfire gun. The trigger is nice and only 3.5# pull and the saftey works great. The gun runs best on high velocity round nose. The sights are plastic but dawson makes nice fiberoptic metal one if you want to upgrade. This is a great gun for the money and every 1911 owner should get one. 5 stars for me.

I purchased it about a week ago and it just got delivered to my local FFL. unfortunately I can not not get it because of treated barrel. It dis not specified on the description. I called buds gun shop but I couldn't talk to anyone so I used online live chat. Jessica was helpful and processed my return for full refund. It is a beautiful pistol. it looks much better in person then picture. I am very sad that I have to send it back. 😫😫😫.

Great gun, especially at this price. Great price and great service. I ordered on Sunday and it was received at the FFL facility Wednesday morning.

Looks awesome and is tough to get out of the boss's hands because she doesn't mind the recoil. Only problem I am having is a bunch of failure to eject and a couple failure to load with the first 2-3 rounds of a full clip. I put 150 rounds through it and found if I only load 7 rounds in the clip the gun works great. It sucks I'm reloading more but it's a lot of fun to shoot. Overall not a bad gun.

One of the most fun guns to shoot. It’s been very reliable with a few hiccups here and there but some of those may be ammo related. If you want something with the look and feel of a 1911 to practice with, or just have fun, then this is a great buy.

Am very impressed with this firearm put over 200 rounds though it didn't have one issue. Wish it came with two magazines I'll be buying a few more. Anyone looking to get a 22lr semi-auto handgun I would recommend this one.

Fun plinker! The quality of this budget 22 is surprising, great fit and finish. The threaded barrel and polished slide are a great touch. 150rnds through it since I got it and no issues whatsoever. From cci stinger to Remington golden bullets, zero failure to feed and zero failure to eject. It even cycled through 2 mags of cci quiet, the first semi auto action I have that will cycle that ammo. It's going to be a super fun piece with the suppressor. Don't hesitate to purchase. Sig sauer wouldn't have GSG making their 22lr 1911s if they weren't top notch.
