Bought this to serve as an additional magazine for my Savage Axis ii 6.5 Creedmoor and it has preformed admirably with out fail. I have not encountered any malfunctions, failures to feed, double feeds, etc., and recommend to anyone seeking either a replacement magazine or additional carrying capacity.

I had a hard time securing these magazines I had paid for one and was on a wait list. Got on buds wish list did not have to pay and received an e-mail in about 7 weeks that they were available. I ordered 2 while I could in a week I had them. They were prefect just like the one that came with the gun. I cancelled the other vender got item needed and at a little lower price. I had a hard time finding the exact magazine I needed. Bud’s Gun Shop had this magazine which was a perfect replica of my original magazine...it needed to have the magazine release on the actual magazine. A1!

What can you say? Factory magazine. Works great. Always good to have a couple spare magazines. Multi caliber for all your Savage Axis or Axis II rifles. Use these for .308 and 6.5 CR.

I bought this as a spare for my sons rifle. I was expecting an exact replacement as I just bought his rifle a few months ago. Well, it wasn’t an exact replacement, but it functions much better. It is much easier to insert into the rifle. It makes me want to buy another and junk the original magazine.

Product is great. It is just like my original that came with my Savage. I bought 2 magazines and they both cycle great. Price was about $8 less for each one.

Perfect match for the one that came in the box with the rifle. Savage Axis XP Bolt .308. Now I have the spare. Price was better than I could do on other sites, and I like Bud's Customer Service better anyway. Absolutely as advertised.

Note that these are multiple caliber magazines. It lists 243, 7mm-08 and 308 in the title. It includes 6.5 Creedmoor in the description. They also indicates 6.5 Creedmoor on the packaging once you receive them. I purchased three of these and used them to zero my creedmoor rifle. They are a tight fit but function fine if you ensure they are seated all the way into the receiver. I haven't tried them in a 308 yet but expect the same good performance.

I bought three of these magazines for my savage 11VT in 308 win and they fit perfect and function as they should. I will be buying more in the future because Buds has the best price I could find anywhere on the net. and you can never have enough mags in my book. this was my first purchase from Buds but will not be my last, shipping was surprisingly fast but tracking was a little lacking but not their fault I believe.

I like to have extra loaded magazines to save time at the range, spend more time shooting. Bud's has the best price that I've found for Savage magazines. This one fits the new Savage 16 Trophy Hunter XP .308 with Accu-Trigger, also fits Axis and Edge models. Built-in plastic locking tab at the front of the mag, I hope that it doesn't break after repeated use.
