Nice gun, plastic stock is fine with me for a $200 gun, finish is okay. Action rough but smooths out quickly. Very nice configuration with the barrel, bolt handle etc. One major catch - the factory magazine will probably be complete trash. Mine was cheap, poorly made and impossible to fix. It wouldn't hold bullets, you get a couple in and then they shoot out all over the place. There is a guy on YouTube that shows the exact same thing. I ordered a ten-round model online that works fine. It is also made by Savage or their supplier. I have no idea what the quality control issue Overall a very fun setup, add $20 for a new mag.
