This model has the matte black finish, rail (with slide ending about a half inch in front of the rail), and safety, and it is all steel. The gun comes in a simple small Tanfoglio black case with 1 magazine. This model also has the newer Tanfoglio hard plastic grips with the thumb rest and checkered areas, not the original bumpy black rubbers. The finish is good and even, doesn't seem overly thick. It is much better than the parkerized variants that Rock Island was putting out. It doesn't really compare to a thick black polycoat on a CZ but it is good in it's own right. The single magazine does not have the bottom plastic or rubber bump pad, it is just a basic metal floor plate. The inside of the frame is finished nicely which came to me as a surprise. The front and rear strap of the frame are both grooved. The sights are basic 3 dot, front is fixed, the rear is drift adjustable. The best part about this gun is the trigger. It seems already better in single action than my CZ75 with a couple of thousand rounds through it. That sounds nuts, I know, but it feels short, crazy smooth and crisp right out of the box. This is the small frame Tanfoglio meaning you cannot up convert slides past the small frame .40sw or small frame .22lr. The price was right for me, mind you it only has one magazine, but I have so many compatible magazines it worked out better for me. CZ75 hogue rubber grips work fine on this model as well.

Overall I am very happy with my purchase, Bud's sent it out quick and I was able to get the price a little lower with the Match Price Button. If you like slide-in-frame, fit your hand like a glove, shoot as straight as your talent will allow you CZ pattern handguns, this might be a good pick up for you. I won't hesitate to purchase a steel frame Tanfoglio in the future nor will I ever stop purchasing from Bud's.
