I recently purchased this AR and I love the ATACS camo look on the upper and lower receivers of the rifle instead of only on the accessories. The color is excellent ATACS camo, however, the online picture used here gives the impression that the ATACS color is mostly various shades of tan/brown. Although there are splashes of tan and dark brown, the overall shading is mostly an olive or light and dark shades of green. I was a bit disappointed since I was looking for more the look from the movie, Lone Survivor. The description online of this ATACS color is simply ATACS camo, while all ATACS AR accessories have a named color scheme. The DPMS ATACS camo most closely resembles the ATACS AU or the High Desert color scheme, so be informed. I wish I knew this before I purchased this rifle, as I would of chosen to purchase the SIG Sauer M400 Enhanced FDE.

The rifle itself is the standard DPMS Oracle rifle and is a fine starter AR. Other than the color, and only issue I have with the rifle I was sent is the forward take down pin cannot be moved, It is lodged in and is stuck and I cannot budge it. Tried to lube it and tap it lightly but it won't move. Otherwise I like the rifle and the color is growing on me.

In summary, this is a fine rifle just be aware of the color to know what you are purchasing.
