This shotgun is exactly as described. Receiver is drilled and tapped for scope or rail mount. I recommend finding a rail that is specifically for Mossberg. The front mounting screws have a very shallow thread depth. The break-up camo actually looks good (not a fan of camo finish) and I like the overall feel of the gun. The 24" ported barrel and xx full choke tube hold a great pattern out to 25 yds. Indoor range is only place I've fired it. It had no problem with the low recoil lead that the range requires and sells. Very happy I used trade program to dump a tactical and pick up this hunter. Plan on using mostly for deer and hog in dense thickets.

Great gun!! By far the BEST turkey gun I've bought for an amazing price. Shoots great!! I've seen comments about shooting high, mine was dead on out of the box. A quick choke change and its been a killing machine!! Cycles well and light for the longer walks. Great service from Bud's aswell.

shoots 16 inches high straight from the factory, tried a Primos scope but couldn't even get that to lower the shot at 30 yards cycles well never had a jam or problem with the function bet still can't get it to shoot lower. Factory sights are as low as it will allow but shoots way to high, have to aim at a turkeys feet to hit it in the head, wildly disappointing for the price.

Nice cycleing, however it shoots extremely high about 12 inches at 20 yards and about 18 inches at 40 yards, if you buy this gun plan on putting a scope on it Now the scope is the easy part. finding the base for it is tough mossberg sells a picatinny rail for it but there all sold out. the weaver 430m is the model number for the base 48455 is the part number, I got mine on amazon becaue no one else had it
