Item was purchased and received promptly - though it was sometime before I was able to get to the range to fire it. But after doing so, I have to say, I was amazed beyond words. With virtually no recoil and accuracy on a par with the finest pistols I've ever seen (especially for its size), the SIG SAUER 9238 exceeds every expectation I had. As mine is the commemorative "Semper Fi" edition, I'll not be firing it, or carry it, very often - but it's comforting to know that I have a quality, accurate and dependable pistol in my arsenal if needed. At best I see myself carrying it, on occasion, during the warmest of days as it conceals very easily - and is light enough to carry on your belt or in your pocket without any discomfort. One note for those looking for additional magazines: you can find them elsewhere for the Colt Mustang/SIG P238 (same mag) made by the same manufacturer - but sold at a greatly reduced price than buying directly from SIG. Bud's probably has them, but I hadn't thought to look prior to this review. I prefer the extended 7-rd mag, as it gives a bit more grip space, and an additional round. As for the gun's performance, I found it quite easy to fire 3-inch groups from as far away as 40-feet with Hornady Critical Defense and Corbon DPX ammo - both of which would provide ballistics equivalent to a .38 +P. All in all, a sweet little mini-1911 design that performs as well or better than its bigger cousin.
