Sig Sauer 1911-22-B 1911-22 10RD 22LR 5"
by Andrew B Date Added: Sunday 02 September, 2012
It's the GSG 1911-22 but backed by the Sig name. Now with 1200 (exclusively CCI Mini-Mag) rounds through mine I have to say it's fun and cheap to shoot, but FTF seems common due to the slide not always returning completely to battery, just shy by maybe 1/64"-- far enough that the firing pin doesn't ding the rim of the cartridge hard enough to detonate the load. I continue to polish and lube the slide rails (they do have a bit of overspray from the slide paint in them) and the reliability seems to be improving.

Chet Whistle's (CW Accessories LLC) performance kit was a nice low-dollar enhancement that brought the gun from 8" groups at 45 ft. down to 3.5" groups at 45 ft. It's full size and pretty hefty for a 22, so it makes a good training platform for the standard 45 1911.

If this gun were ever stolen, I%uFFFD%uFFFDd replace it with the same. Sturdy, but you need to treat it with respect-- It%uFFFD%uFFFDs made of zinc or aluminum alloys. Also seems like a lot of aftermarket 1911 parts will fit it with little or no modification.

Buds made the purchase easy and they provided tracking info proactively. Excellent sale experience. I plan on making almost every purchase through Buds because of their excellent service.
