My Gun: S&W Model 60-18

The grips work, they have a great grip even if your hands are sweaty. The compac version wraps around the back strap.

However on the left side of the grip, the side where the cylinder opens: the grip gets in the way of a speed loader.

You can see the grip was designed with a slight cut-out that would presumably allow it to work with a speed loader; however it is still too thick.

I tried to cut this piece out a bit, however their is metal that is inside the plastic of the grip that made this a bit difficult. I did manage to cut out a piece for positive speed loader feeding; however it was a pain, and doesn't look pretty.

If I had to do it over again I would have went with the Hogue Bantam grip since the grip doesn't obstruct the area right behind the cylinder.
