The Glock 26 is an excellent, well built and very solid weapon. This is now my first choice for Conceal Carry here in California. For those of you who have larger hands the magazine extension for the pinky finger will work well. If you can tolerate a Sub Compact weapon such as the Glock 26 or the 27 without the pinky finger extension this is a great weapon for Conceal Carry. It is all a matter of preference. It is easily hidden in the front pocket of most loose fit jeans or in a waist holster in the front.
Accuracy is decent. Since this is a sub compact weapon it will not have such a tight grouping like a 4 or 5 inch barrel would on a full size sidearm. 10-15 yards is a decent grouping but beyond that I would recommend a full size pistol if accuracy is an issue out to 25+ yards. Breakdown is fairly quick and simple like most weapons. If you live in California Buds will put any dealer to shame when it comes to the price. I will be ordering the Glock 27 which is the 40 cal sub compact sister version and my wife will also be purchasing the Glock 26 for herself. Ladies, with a 124 grain or 147 grain hollowpoint from Federal Ammunition or Speer Ammo this is an excellent choice for conceal carry, mobility, weight, knock down and low recoil.
