Glock 37 .45 GAP Fixed Sights
[PI3750201]
$595.00
by Wayne C Date Added: Monday 11 January, 2010
THE TRANSACTION: Shipping was as fast as it could be. There were no issues with my FFL (other than they could not believe the price). I also bought a "used" mag and 50 rounds of 45GAP from Buds and that arrived at the house just as fast. I should have bought several of the used mags because the one I got was like brand new (spring tension and all) for $10.99.

THE G37: Soon as I got this bad boy home, I cleaned and oiled it then took it to the range on Saturday. It takes a firm grip to maintain control but it is sweet, accurate (shoots better than me for sure) and is all the things every other Glock is. For me, at the moment, there is no rapid firing this guy...too much recovery time to reacquire the target. We ran the targets out to ~50' and it was outshooting my Walther P22. This is my first Glock but won't be my last ... hoping Buds will mess up and put up the G23 at that price. :)

THE DOWNSIDE: The obvious downside to this whole deal is the future of 45GAP ammunition. I think Glock and Speer had a good idea here but it doesn't look like it took off with other manufacturers. But, from what I can tell, 45GAP ammo should be around for another 10 years or so .... plus I'm hoping Lone Wolf (or any other aftermarket supplier) will make a barrel conversion for it. Buds also had a great price on Winchester 185gr which the G37 cycled without a single failure.... should have got more of that, too.
