SWEET!!!! Wish I had been smart enough to get this one sooner! Even though it only comes with one mag, I still had to give it 5 stars. The fit and finish are not Kimber fancy, but for a half or a third of the price, it is 'ruggedly handsome'. LOL I want a shooter, not a safe queen, and this gun does shoot. This is my first 3.5 inch 1911 and I am as impressed by this 3.5 as I was when I shot my first 1911. Out of the box, inside the gun seemed dry, even a little gritty, so I wiped it down with Rem Oil and headed to the range. I fired about 200 rounds of cheap 230 grain FMJ, and 3 different JHPs (2x 185grn and a 230). Not a single gun related (FTF / FTE) issue. The factory mag (ACT) worked perfectly. I brought a MecGar and Chip McCormick 8 rounders also. Neither fit correctly, of course, but the MecGar had feed issues. The 8 round MecGar has worked perfectly in my full size 1911, so I'm sure it's just an issue in this 7 round gun. The Chip worked, and may fit 'right' after I install the S&A Arched MSH and Magwell. The sights are Novak-type 3 dot, and will do fine until I get Mepro or HiViz installed. This gun is more accurate than I am. At 15 yds (longest I could go at the indoor range), I shot fist sized groups center mass without even trying. Recoil is a little more than a full size 1911, but not bad. Compared to my polymer frame .45, this felt like a 9mm. The trigger is adjustable, but I was pleased with it out of the box, and didn't mess with it. The Filipinos could do more to 'dress up' their guns, but so long as they work, I don't mind the very poor quality, 'copy machined' owner's manual, that is illegible, one mag, and no tool included for trigger adjustment. This gun is made to shoot, and it does that VERY WELL. The only thing better than this gun, is BUD'S!!! BUD'S ROCKS!!! I had this gun on layaway for about 8 weeks, and the price went up $90 during that time, but I was 'locked in' at the lower price. The gun shipped fast, and everything worked like a well lubed machine. I've made several purchases from Bud's, and they have all been perfect. I will certainly continue to be a long term, regular, repeat, happy customer.
